Mission

Our Mission at Cat Rock is to make this a community-centered and community run ski area. Ideally, the area would feature upgraded trails and snowmaking equipment, making it a reliable spot for skiing regardless of natural snowfall. The focus would be on creating a welcoming environment for families, and youth with after-school activities aimed at bringing both physical fitness and social interaction. By offering an accessible and affordable winter sports option, Cat Rock could become a place for local residents to enjoy skiing without the need for traveling hours, while also providing a safe and positive environment for students. This would give everyone an alternative, allowing Cat Rock to support their mental health and reducing the risk of engaging in behaviors like substance use.
